Tristel Duo - the world's first rapid action sporocidal surface cleaner

Tristel Duo incorporates patented chlorine dioxide chemistry combined with a highly effective cleaning action. It can kill all organisms on a surface with a contact time of only 30 seconds. It is rapidly effective against all the organisms that pose the threat of hospital acquired infection, including Clostridium difficile, MRSA, E.coli, Salmonella, Acinetobacter baumanii and Mycobacterium tuberculosis.

Biocidally, Tristel Duo is far superior to a wipe that uses triclosan, chlorhexidine gluconate, sodium hypochlorite (bleach), chlorine releasing compounds (NaDCC), alcohol, a quaternary ammonium compound (QAC), or combinations of alcohol and QACSs.

EBV EBNA-1-IgG ELISA PKS

In brief: Efficient serological testing for EBV is usually considered to begin with detection of EBNA 1 IgG. Further diagnostic steps are necessary only if EBNA 1 IgG is not detected. The EBNA-1-IgG ELISA-PKS kit, manfactured by MEDAC, Wedel, Germany, quantitatively detects antibodies directed specifically against nuclear antigen. It implements the principle of single-point quantification.

Published laboratory evaluation of this kit (see below *), in comparison with other methods, shows its 'excellent performance.'
