Selective Agents

Lyophilised supplement vials are packed in multiples of 10, each vial consisting of either 500ml, 1 litre, 2 litre or even 3-4 litre pack sizes, depending on the customers ordering preference.

The supplelemts are presented in freeze-dried format and they carry with them a 2-3 year shelf life depending on antibiotic content. Storage of the products should be in a refrigerator at 2-8⁰C. On addition to the appropriate culture medium the content of each vial is mixed and dissolved resulting in the correct level of selective agent.
